PARENT FAQS

What time can I begin checking in my child to EPAGKIDS?
Check-In is available 15 minutes prior to each service: 8:45am/10:45am on Sundays and 6:45pm on Wednesday nights.

What can I expect when I first arrive?
A Check-In Host will be available to assist first time guests. Once they complete check-in, children receive a name tag, and parents receive a security tag that allows them access to our EPAGKIDS wing.

What information do I need to give in order to check in my child?
Our Check-In Host will ask for first & last names, a contact phone number, cellular provider [so we can page parents via text during service as needed], and any allergies your child has.

How are volunteers selected to serve in EPAGKIDS?
Each grade-specific life group is led by a leader who is at least 18 years old. Rooms are also often staffed with youth volunteers as needed. Our volunteers love kids, have an eye for risk management, and every adult has completed a thorough background screening.

What risk management protocols are in place?
All of our ministry environments are under camera surveillance. Volunteers adhere to a “Rule of Three” best practice [never alone with a child].

What are the sanitizing practices for the rooms?
Every room is thoroughly cleaned prior to each use. This includes door handles, toys, tabletops, and supplies. Each room has access to its own restroom, which is also cleaned prior to each use.

When does my child move up into the next grade in EPAGKIDS • Elementary?
The first Sunday in August is our UpGrade Sunday each year – a morning where students move into different grade-specific groups based on the grade they’re rising into in the fall.
