EPAGMISSIONS

Why Missions?

Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV). He also told us, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NIV). In response to these commands and promises, Eden Prairie Assembly of God attempts to organize the finances and participation of the church as a whole in missions efforts, in order to most effectively advance the Kingdom of God.

What are we doing?

The organized missions efforts out of EPAG include both sending and going to “make disciples of all the nations.”
Sending involves financial and/or organizational support from our church for those who have made a commitment to administer the work on location. Going will involve attendees of EPAG participating in missions related ministry. Missions at EPAG will be defined as being involved with fulfilling the Great Commission in all areas of the world, including our own community. The goal is to take the gospel into areas and cultures that are not directly ministered to as a part of the body of Christ at EPAG.
